Well getting started on my hellcat cai :)

Thanks To" Nevercouldfigureitout: for the used light to work on.

I used 3.5 inch hole saw for the gutting. Now have the hole all the way through the lamp assembly

Not a lot of fun but got it done. Using 3.5 OD PVC for fitting. I plan on clear acrylic for the final fitting.

I am contacting venders to see if I can get a set of halos for the park / tune signals (since the bulb is now history. )

More to come J

well heating in the oven is not working :( what are you guys using to cut the lens off
messing it up tooooo bad?? it up??

Yeah unlike all other headlights I cracked open in the past these were the worst by far, some people go straight to cutting the lense out with a dremel, I heated mine in the oven for 15 minutes then with a few screwdrivers and a heat gun worked a few inches at a time, the black housing part ended up getting screwed up in some areas but after I was done, I got a huge tube of black silicone masking into caulk gun and sealed the crap out of them, headlights are hidden under the covers so can never tell

following this project, had the same idea myself, pvc for the inlets and halos for turn signals. I'd like to do a dual intake though with both lights.
