To answer 3 of your 4 questions:

1. Yes, I wouldn't have any other Challenger that isn't a Shaker.
2. No overheating issues whatsoever.
3. I covered this in 1.

There is no concern at all with the Shaker option.........unless you don't like the coolest, head turning feature of the Shaker. Behind the wheel it gives you instant satisfaction that you are driving a Challenger.
