Hi guys, sorry ahead of time if there's already a post about this. I looked but couldn't find anything.

I have a 15' RT 5.7L, and I'm looking for an exhaust system. I figured this would be the best place to ask for advice/ suggestions! Any links, soundclips, etc. would be much appreciated!

Heading to an exhaust shop in about 4 hours. Told the guy I wanted muffler & reso delete, and run 3" straight pipes all the way back. I don't want aftermarket mufflers... I feel like they take away from the original hemi sound. Good idea? Bad idea? I need some opinions. 2015 Challenger RT Plus w/ STP. Thanks in advance.

Before I installed the Borla exhaust, I did the reso delete which unleashed an animal! The car sounds healthy and somewhat quiet until you walk to the rear of the car. When you stomp on it, you damn sure know it's there. Some delete the mufflers as well but I found straight pipes were just a hair too much, especially for local law enforcement. The stock mufflers are almost a straight through anyway. I didn't get any drone with the resonators out either. At certain speeds, the MDS would come on and sound weird however I just went to manual on the autostick.

The R/T Plus has 2.25 inch piping so most shops can do that work in a short time. If I were to do it again, I'd just get the new cat-back system from the start. From start to finish, it took about two hours to remove the stock one and install the new one.

You could get pretty close by deleting your resonators and picking up a pair of Flowmaster Super 40 Series mufflers. The sound won't be exactly the same because Flowmaster's American Thunder Cat-back system for the 2015 R/T also features our Scavenger X-pipe crossover, but if you are on a budget and looking for increased sound this should do it. We recommend that if you do perform this muffler swap, keep your stock resonators in place at first. This way you can see if you like the sound level before you increase it even further by removing the resonators. If you have any further questions, feel free to give our tech line a call at (707) 544-4761. Good luck!
