When I placed the order I thought that there were only 2 options. The standard seat are called "premium" which is confusing to begin with. I upgraded to the Laguna leather because I am OCD an I can't stand how the suede on the premium seats shows finger and ass prints. I would be brushing the seats every time someone got out of the car! Even their marketing photos show where somebody slid their fingers across the seat. The Laguna leather always looks neat.

The only reason I prefer the alcantara inserts on my '13 is because it seems to create more friction with my ass than leather does, which leads to me being held into the seat better. In the all-leather seats of an RT-Classic, I was sliding a lot more.

I'm sure that the friction would be more important in a manual car than my automatic. If I'm cornering hard I can brace myself with my left foot on the dead pedal.

How supple is the Laguna? We have the Nappa leather upgrade in my wife's Durango R/T and it is quite nice. I'm just wondering how much more of a premium leather is the Laguna vs the Nappa. I know all about the fact that the Laguna comes from Scandinavian cows and the hides are mar free.

Actually, scratch that. You can push yourself into the seat bolster (was just thinking about what I do in the Mini when I make a U-turn at 35mph)

For a long time the "build your own" wouldn't even allow black laguna to be selected. If you clicked on "black leather" then selected the laguna option, a popup window opened saying you had to change the color to Sepia. It doesn't do that anymore, at least not yesterday. I read somewhere (either this forum or another) that someone talked to SRT and were told that black laguna, although originally offered, would no longer be available on the hellcat. Guess that is no longer true.
