Passenger side got ripped off trying to enter a driveway and the drivers side on the way out.

Sorry to hear that Bill. Hopefully no other damage to the car. I had not really thought about it but side skirts and lowering springs may not play together well.

I've had mine on since last December, and have had no problems. They are a must for WB cars, along with Rock Guards and paint protection film on the front of all 4 flares.

So how are these doing to keep rock chips down. I have a set on my wide body. I also installed clear paint filth halfway up the doors as well as the front of the flares and the nose.

The film look fine everywhere but the doors. Being so flat they stick out like a sore thumb so I want to remove from there. I can deal with a tiby chip here and there. I am pretty good with touch up paint so it would disappear. Large chips on a regular basis would drive me crazy.

Looking at my film it doesn’t look like it’s really getting anything but wanted to ask. I also have the ZL1 rock guards.

@hunter99 here's a picture of my car after driving real slow thru a muddy farmers market parking lot. Even with Rock Guards and Side Extenders, some mud flung up there. If you aren't seeing
much stuff on there, maybe the rock guards alone are doing their job. Run your hands over the film, I bet you feel spots where rocks banged off the film.

So far so good. No rock chips anywhere on the car. But then again i try to avoid roads with loose gravel. The car is presently being paint corrected and then ceramic coated by a local detail shop.

I have run my hand on it. The clear film on the flare definitely has taken hits. The doors I don’t feel anything. Part of the reason I think I should be ok.

Also, like Bill, I avoid raids with gravel. I also don’t put a ton of miles on the car. Just over 8k since I bought it in August of 2020.
