Me:

23 years old
2021 Challenger 392 Scat Pack
$187/month or $16/month (winter storage)
BelairDirect Auto

Wondering what everyone else is paying to see if there are other auto insurance companies I don't know about that could possibly be cheaper.

Yeah the storage is cheap because I'm not supposed to take the car on the road. I pay that rate usually for me it's from first snowfall to last snowfall.

When I called around, there's one insurance company that won't give me a "storage" rate like that!! At least not for however long I wanted. Even though the regular rate was cheaper, I had to pay a lot more during the storage months.

Yep, 23 and a muscle car. Time to bend over. Also, anything over 500 hp gets charged even more according to my broker.

Not sure if everyone on here knows that Hagerty opened up their coverage to include modern muscle/collectible cars. I have had them for years on older cars and kept trying once a year to get them to cover my Challenger. Last year they finally changed their strategy. As with their other coverages, you can pick your coverage value. This was a concern with me with Allstate as we all know “book value” does not reflect mods and other factors. With Allstate I was paying about $700/year, but again, replacement value was book value. With Hagerty it’s $350/year with replacement value set at $30K. Same deductibles, etc., and I’m 56, ‘08 SRT8 in West Lafayette, IN with a clean record. I don’t work for Hagerty or anything; I’ve just had them for years on the other cars and like them.
