I used a bag of frozen peas and a used up gift card (like a credit card, plastic). Just held the bag of peas on for a few minutes and flicked the letters off. No scratches and no leftover adhesive. I did it the 5th day I owned it

I only bought the peas for that. Never opened and tossed them after Should have gotten baby corn...I'd eat that

I used a hair dryer and fishing line, came off VERY easily. I replaced them with the blackout DODGE lettering, looks much better to me.

 

When you remove these. Do the new ones come with a template for proper location and is it individual letters? Would love to do this for my go mango.

 

Frozen peas are possibly nastier then a new Prius🤮

I just used wd-40 and fishing line on my truck emblems and I did it in the winter with no heat. Also used a plastic razor for the rubber underneath, I’m not sure there will be any under the dodge emblems..

didn't need a heat gun, just used braided fishing line. After removal used goo-gone to remove remaining glue and the LUXE prep spray before applying the new vinyl. fishing line and a hair dryer will work just fine.

 

Highly recommend using heat, safer than doing it in the cold. I outline here how I did it and how I made a template for the new blacked out Dodge lettering

i changed a badge with hair dryer and fishing line.under the corner of the badge slowly cleaned up residue with rubbing alcohol..perfect results light touch getting rd of adhesive..

 

Interesting, guys with the chrome want the black.The guys with the black want the chrome.

 

Mine are black...I will keep them black. Came with the black out option I believe.

 

Debadged the entire car - no bees, challenger, dodge, nothing.
Then, blacked out the car, including blackout taillight covers.
Didn't want anything competing with graphics.

I took them off the 1320 and Hellcat, just used some old Dental Floss my son left here years ago, LOL (but as some mentioned you can also just pop them off no prob)
