I simply spray painted the insulation, then airbrushed a graphic for the car's theme.

 

Nice! But I'm no artist so I don't see this being a solution for me. I'd have to pay someone to do it for me.

 

I want to do something with my car's under belly too.

Been wanting to do something like this myself. Hopefully, this thread will give us some ideas. Looks like best way to go with the hood liner is airbrush. As far as the vinyl, I know people that have had other engine pieces wrapped (engine covers, coolant tanks, etc., and daily driven for the past few years and have had no issues. Remember though, to take account that the hood liner hides the washer lines, unless you decide to remove them. Depends on how much you really use the washers. Just about every gas station around here still has the window washing stations, so not a big issue if you take the lines out.

Not true on the 15 & Up. The washers are no longer run to the hoods.

pop the hood and look for the line on the passenger side. should run along the hood mounting point. the actual spray nozzles, at least for the SRT hoods are on the backside of the hood in the cowl area, if the hood is closed they are hard to see.
