I like it too! I especially like the way that they molded the widebody front fenders into the bumper (easy to do in a render, but probably not so much in real life. I"m on the fence though about the two lower inlets in the front end. The driving/fog lights and the air inlets look a bit strange to me.

 

Looks great n sinister from one angle. Definitely the front end is a "bad ass" looking start.

I'll give it a wait n see on how the profile and rear quarter blends in.

Unlikely Dodge is going to make anything like this happen, but, we can dream!

Personally I love the lowered stance it has going, I think our current cars are sprung too high.

 

Personally, I like it the way it is.

 

The way the Challenger is, or the way this rendering is?

 

You know its gonna happen sometime. The next gen Challenger is going to be smaller & lighter, probably based on the Giula body. They might swing the Plymouth name back in the Cuda. If their rich enough they'll(FCA) do both. I think they do this all the time to see what the feedback is.

 

I dont think it was anyone affiliated with FCA who did this rendering.

Also, the Giorgio platform idea was scrapped, looks like they're just going to be reworking the current LA/LD architecture again, although it's supposed to be a little smaller and lighter? We'll see.

We also have to consider that Puegot, FCA's new owners, likely won't be wild about the idea of dumping money into their American car brand for sport/muscle cars that don't sell enough volume to justify using FCA's fairly limited development costs, compared to brands like Ram and Jeep.

Sigh. Hope I'm wrong and that my info is incorrect.

 

To me, all I see is a Challenger with a body kit. I love the old 'Cudas (my dad did a full resto on '70 440) but this doesn't do anything for me.

 

Honestly, a 'Cuda may be the only way an undersized Challenger may work. A 15/16th version with 'Cuda cues...

I like it. With everything else out on the road now a days this looks like a winner to me.

 

wrong grille, '71 was the only year that a 'Cuda had 4 headlights... Also the best looking 'Cuda or pretty much car ever made.
