They can probably repair or skin the door without replacing the whole thing.

I'd replace a door rather than a re-skin They just aren't the same after. Hope it turns out perfect again.

 

If insurance is paying for it, they'll probably fix it.
I've seen hundreds of doors skinned with no issues...and it's 1/2-2/3 the cost of replacing the door usually.
I've seen more issues with full door replacements. When you skin a door, it doesn't have to be gutted and have all the internals re-installed in a different door...
