Tazer - Startup Drive Mode: Like driving in Sport or Track mode every time you get in your car? Tazer can set the startup drive mode for you, so you don’t need to switch modes every time you get in the car.

What do these Tazers cost? Is there a downside voiding warranties or any other disadvantage of using Tazer to disengage ECO mode to automatically start in Performance mode on new Dodge Challenger SPWB?

Looks like around $300 with the double bypass

Is there any way you can screw up the car with this? I see lots of other things one can do like open windows using remote. Most important feature I would think would be to be able to start 8 spd. auto Challenger in performance mode or out of that multi-displacement mode so that the engine does not prematurely wear out.

I have no personal experience, but it doesn't make permanent changes like a Tune can

2018 and above vehicles are equipped with a new device called a security gateway module. The purpose of this module is to prevent CAN bus hacking over the 3G or LTE network. It also prevents access from the OBD-II port by anything other than the dealer diagnostic tools. The double bypass gives you a 2nd OBD-II port to connect the Tazer (and other OBD-II devices) to

Wow! The tools of technology have really come a long way.o_O
I have to wonder how many Challenger owners have bought this Tazer and are satisfied with the purchase?

I've seen quite a few members here that use it. It depends on what trim you have and what new features it offers if it's worth it to you. I rarely see people have issues caused by it posted

Scat Pack Widebody it doesn't add much. Unless you want it for one specific function, you won't gain much

I can't seem to get a answer to my question even though I emailed Tazer. I wanted to know on a 2020 SP WB if I could keep the engine in sport but the trans in auto so it would shift smooth and the MDS would be off and it would always default to the settings I created when I restarted the car. All they did was give me the printed instructions which can be interpreted different ways. I would spend the $300 if they would give me a answer because other than the windows going down with the key fob are the only two reasons that I would make the purchase. I like to cruise a lot but when it's time for fun then track comes on. I can't stand MDS but didn't want to spend another 25-30K on a HC when I can barley use 485 hp around my area.

I asked the same thing recently and was told that it can be done. But I haven't tried yet.
I will today and post it if I am successful.
The Tazer will let you keep it in Sport mode i bought one just for that plus you can setup some sweet splash screens.
when i start my car it starts up in Sport Mode

Here is an open question to all here:
If you didn't buy or use a Tazer but instead just switched from the default mode (which is ?) to sport to shut off MDS would there be any problems with the MDS? What is the default mode in the R/T 392 SPWB? Is it ECO mode?
