Now, this works on my 2015 SRT...You can set what you want in Custom...Then, when you start or when ever, just double tap the SRT button on the face plate and it automatically goes to that Custom setting...
I have Special Settings I like when at track so when heading up to water box, just Double Tap the SRT Button...

It does revert back to Default at shutoff...

Newer cars I think I saw have a Mode Button...Would that be the same as our SRT button?...

Yep, works the exactly same way!

I keep mine in custom 95% of the time, which is sport with traction on, steering in normal and suspension normal. Rides and handles nice but it shifts quick and throttle response is better. Yes double tap drive mode button and it’s in custom.

The one on the console, underneath the UConnect screen. I keep my custom mode in all track and just do the same as @Gearz.

But your SPWB is a 6 spd. manual transmission so you don't have to worry about the MDS problem because you don't have it. If you did have MDS (8 spd. automatic transmission) you would switch it over to the sport mode to avoid using the MDS feature.

Yes, I only change it to keep my exhaust valves open and firm up the suspension and steering. Think it increases throttle response too.

Foot on brake, press start button, press Sport Mode button.

Problem solved. :)
Unfortunately with the newer setup you don't have a button anymore. With my new TA I have to navigate through the touch screen to get to the performance settings just to activate "Sport" or "track" etc.. My old '18 SP just had a button on the console. It's a little bit of a pain that way.

That sucks. Sounds like a step backwards from the factory.

Pushing Sport Mode button was too easy I guess 🤷

My 21' has the button. I use it every time I drive it.

Set your custom mode to Sport or tweak it then double tap the Drive Modes button and will go right to it.

Now, will any of these settings impact the active exhaust? The main reason I always put it in sport is the perception (I know it’s been debated) that the valves are open in sport. I want it as loud as possible at all times

I have that too but you still have to select sport on your screen, correct? There used to be a sport button where your drive modes button is
Wasn't aware of the older "Sport" button. Yes, with drive modes you can push the button and then select the mode you want. But, as stated, easiest way is to set your favorite mode to the "Custom" mode. then when you start up, just hit the Drive Modes button twice and it goes straight to custom mode. No screen touching required.

My impression is that the valves are partially open in Sport, fully open in Track. I just installed this and now they are open all the way, all the time. Regardless of mode.
