I did a some dyno runs yesterday so I decided to post up a video and my sheet for you guys to see.

From my last dyno I put up 433 HP and 432 ft lbs of torque stock with just a CAI.

This dyno put up 454 HP and 467 ft lbs of torque with a cracked pcm, Diablo 93 canned tune, and CAI.

Now before you guys start picking it apart I am well aware of it being on two different dynos, lower DA, and it being cooler so I know there are variances but still an impressive gain.

The 93 tune claims a 15 hp and 20 ft lb gain so the gains here show 22 hp and 34 torque more in comparison.

There is a better throttle response and the ability to light the tires up at 40mph in sport/track mode and my quarter mile times have dropped right at a tenth on average across the board hitting 12.1 and 12.2's consistently.

I was like a lot of you here pondering that expense of the pcm and tuner but there isnt any choice if you plan to mod so I sucked it up and spent 850 bucks for it (with 180 tstat) too and am pleased with the results so far.

*EDIT The tstat is not installed yet

No not taking what you say the wrong way at all Wasp. I was not sold actually myself considering the conditions from my last dyno to this one and agree with you. It was 42 degrees and the DA was in the negatives so I know that added a bit to it. We rarely have those conditions here.

There was also a couple of friends of mine that went with me and one has a 15 Scat like mine and a 16 Z06. The other Scat put down a little less than mine but pretty close to his last dyno there a month or so before and that Z06 put down 591hp and 635 torque. He went to the strip right after and got a 10.4 with it. Very impressive. So by looking at those numbers as well I do know I did get some gains.

I called and talked with Sean at Hemifever before I purchased my pcm/tuner but chose to buy from a supporting vendor here then a month later he becomes one. lol. He did take the time and answered my questions so when I do get the tstat in I will give him a shout for a tune.

I dont get in a big hurry about my upgrades so I will run on this tune for a bit to get more realistic numbers and will go get another dyno done in January/February time frame at the same dyno shop as I did before for a better comparison.

Also, according to the dyno, Im running a little lean and need to get it fattened up a bit. I hear that running lean is not good on these 6.4's.

Getting there a pony or two at a time. So, all things considered, I think I will be going with a 100 shot of nitrous setup based on what others have done with their 6.4's in comparison to costs, times, and performance from the last year of seeing whats being done to the 392's.

Still wondering if it's enough extra to justify the possible warranty concerns tho.
Im with you there about the warranty issue but any mod after the PCM/Tuner you are treading on thin ice and blowing the warranty entirely.

Supercharger? $8-10k

Turbo? Not realistic or much support on this route

Nitrous 100 shot? $3-4k full kit

Forged/drop in pistons then 150 shot? $6-7k

I will keep all these mods in mind over the next year or so then decide on my next step. 100 Shot of NOS is still number one on my list as of now as its less expensive and the least intrusive on my block.
