As some of you know I am building a 70 RR with 2015 Challenger Interior parts. My question now is around the front seat belts. Does anyone know - (SEE ATTACHED PICS) I have both right and left seat belt receivers - The drivers receiver has this welded rope piece sticking out of the end of where the side drivers seat air bag is electrically connected to...

IF this piece is protruding - does it mean the drivers seat air bag was deployed? These seat belt receivers are parts I obtained separately from the other interior parts - so I do not know what condition the car was in that they came out of.

What Im really after is possibly hooking these up or really BYPASSING the little electrical switch to TURN OFF the seat belt light in the Instrument display on the dash.

Any information as to HOW these seatbelts are suppose to function would be appreciated.

I believe it does indicate it deployed. The explosive shoots the cable that direction to tighten the belt. Be careful if you test as a good tensioner has an explosive charge that could be set off!

It's confusing that he says both bad an good ones test zero ohms, but the bad is 000.1 and the good is 000.0. he has several videos that show the same. It's not 100% clear a new one shouldn't read ohms as he states. Other videos he shows an open for bad and for a good less than 0.5 ohm

Are you going to have the rest of the SRS system? Airbags? There is an occupant sensor in the seat, and a seat belt buckle sense. Both are needed for the SRS system
