Put it in sport mode. I hate the 4 cylinder mode.

I agree. They might have deleted the mufflers or resonators. The stock exhaust will not drone.

 

What you experienced is unrelated to the shaker option.

BTW, one car from my distant past is a '70 Mustang Boss 302. It had a real shaker that really shook. The shaker on the new Challenger just squirms around a bit, like a worm on a very cold day. Maybe they ought to be called Dodge Wiggler.

 

I own a 2021 5.7 Shaker. I have had different versions of air to air intake manifold.
Stock with drivers Shaker tube to air filter box. 4" diameter inlet/filter.

Deleted stock. Added AirRaid brand air filter box and 6" diameter inlet to manifold.
This was mostly done to get a cooler look with custom plastic half covers.

I have MagnaFlow XMod exhaust, mid muffler delete.

I 100% drive in Sport Mode.

It's loud, works fast and no complaints.

 

Some people shouldn't own these cars.

 

If it was used, probably had exhaust changed and or resonator removed. In searching for used SP's, I don't think I found a single one with stock exhaust.

You haven't seen mine then. 8 years and the stock exhaust is still fine with me, good enough to get me to the 11's. Only mod is the Hellcat headlight intake tube. No drone, ever.

 

to be clear, I understood what you said. I just said that my (and most of the one's in my area) have the stock, unmolested exhaust.

 

my 2022 scat pack shaker challenger is stock. no drone. love the crap out of it . even more than my supercharged C5 I had.

exhaust drone? no but it sounds really good in sport mode or track. barely use Auto unless I am on trip.
