About to pull the trigger on a SRT-8 B5 blue Challenger. Looking to buy the basic with no options but would like to know what is the difference from the basic white face gauges and the SRT-II white face gauges? Is it the 0-60 times and ¼ mile times? Also is the speaker options worth it compared to the stock ones?
Thanks,

All SRT's get the same gauge cluster with the extended EVIC screens (1/4, 1/8mi timers, G-force, 0-60, and braking distance).

The SRT groupII speakers are coaxial Kicker brand speakers (they count each driver) + the trunk wall Kicker sub)
*2 co-ax IP speakers (left, right)
*2 co-ax door speakers (left, right)
*2 co-ax rear deck speakers (left, right)
*trunk mounted Kicker Sub
* more amp power, more sub amplification

the 'standard' SRT sound system is the same Boston Acoustic 6-speaker system that is in the J-pkg and M-pkg (classic) R/T.

If you are looking at getting the navigation (Media Center 730N) SRT Grp II is a mandatory option bundle.

You can get the non-nav Media Center 430 with or w/o the SRT Grp II option if you want to go that route.

The other way I would look at this is, if you want more bass response, the Kicker system has more amplification [276W for 6 spkr BA to 30Hz] of 522W and lower frequency rating to 20Hz.

Another member on this forum thought my R/T SGII [8 spkr BA] system had more bass than his SRT Kicker system when we compared our cars.

I've been very happy with my R/T's SGII system - I usually run the tone settings flat (no cut or boost) and it has plenty of bass.

If you could listen to a 'standard' R/T 6 speaker system that would give you an idea if that would meet your expectations. A lot of posters have been happy with their 6 speaker BA systems, especially for an OEM system.
