Way to expensive. Prices vary depending on where you go but it's not worth it to paint it. If you want to get it done and make sure it looks professional its gonna be at LEAST 6k.

 

Not worth it IMHO. Unless a car is a total basketcase restoration-wise, it makes little sense to change the color. You could've ordered a '13 in PCP at no extra cost to begin with.

 

I thought we did this thread once and people were telling you between $8000-12000...

Requires disassembling the car to do it properly.

Other people were suggesting a wrap.

A new thread is unlikely to generate a different response...

If you're serious, take it to 3 different body shops and get a firm quote from each :deal:

as well...as we all should!

 

To do this properly you'd need to pull the engine out of the bay.

How much for a color change, how much ya got? $5k, $10K, $15K ? Let someone take apart my brand new Challenger, paint it and put it back together, no thank you. Take the hit and trade or get some purple lenses in your glasses. And, as soon as you buy a PCP, they will come out with some new awesome color, you can't win.

 

Have you watched the you tube video on how they build the challenger? After i watched it, i would not ever think of changing the color. The way the factory paints , dips, details it...well, i wouldn't want one painted any other way. I would trade & move over to the dark side or love the one your with..
