They really drug their feet on that, and kept the lits back ordered. Kind of like stalling for warranty to expire.

Do you fall under these req's?

NOTE: This recall applies only to the above vehicles equipped with a 5.7L Hemi engine (sales code EZD or EZH), automatic transmission (sales code DGJ) and rear axle ratio 3.06, 3.73 or 3.92 (sales code DMP, DME or DMH) built from August 04, 2008 through July 10, 2012 (MDH 080406 through 071008).
Nope, I have a manual transmission.. but every thing else qualifies .. I ordered all of the updated parts

any lifter brand recommendations?
FYI - regarding OEM lifters, as others have mentioned Mopar updated the lifters...apparently around mid 2016?

Hang in there man, just don't get the Engine tech or anything to cheap to be true. There are other more expensive like Johnson and some of the guys here may post up alternatives.

I got a full set of MDS AD lifters last August from SW

I think Johnson only makes the non-MDS lifters

MMX Hemi Lifter Tech Video - YouTube

found this information - its a 25 minute video

4 sets of lifters compared
OEM non MDS lifters (the "AD" part appears to be 3/2016 and up design)
overseas copy of lifter
American Made lifter
Comp Cams bridge / tie lifter

the gist of it

Get the OEM non-MDS lifter (this is what all M6 and Hellcat engines use)

next one would be the Comp Cams lifters (for high rpm) that have the bridge style connector

the "American Made" lifter is in this video - the long and short is a lot of oil pressure bleed off which is due to design issues.

Yeah I think the AD (2016) are the lifters with larger roller too.

I will get that mid-day when the neighbors are at work haha
I say go ahead and fire it up now, and if the neighbors complain, simply explain that you were checking for the dreaded banana in the tailpipe trick and also not to worry, everything was fine.

If they don’t buy your reason, start acting like you’re hard of hearing and can’t hear what they are saying.

If they persist in their complaining, fire it up again and drown them out with open header exhaust. 😎

Finally got the car tuned, 377 rwhp @ 6250, 359 rwtq@4600 rpm… i wired the 6.4 intake runner control up to the pcm to operate as designed tuner said he could turn it on and off and it didnt change anything, so im not sure it’s working, i will put a scope on it to see what its doing. If it isn't doing anything i will wire it up to the MSD rpm switch.

Remember to set to 4800 rpms for proper setting.

Also, Here are some cutaways I made from a damaged 6.4 intake might like.

Actually the FCA handbooks also have an x-section of the SRV manifold, although I think it is from a 5.7 Ram. Nice to know the 6.4 design is almost identical.

Yep. Took some time to cut mine.

I am however, now that I have seen inside one feel porting is just about useless because there is no change in the front of the runners, and if anything taking a tunnel, and making the exit bigger would only serve to slow the air down but not increase it's volume really.
