Your coolant was originally purple - the dyes fade within a years' time and ends up pink. My '16 had Cool-Aid purple coolant color and by month 10 it was fading to a pink color.

there's two versions concentrate or 50/50 ready to use. If you get concentrate, you just dilute with distilled water to a 50% solution
68175336AA Concentrate (OAT)
68175337AB 50/50 (OAT)

yes its the same coolant your original had faded from purple to pink.

I see Hellcats all the time where there's two separate systems - the intercooler circuit and the engine circuit.

The intercooler coolant remains purple and the engine coolant turns pink. It must the the iron block or the higher temperature that makes the dye change color. The intercooler would be only aluminum parts its exposed to

Funny thing, My 2018 PCP has purple, my co-workers 2012 YJ has yellow.

2 for 2 on coolant matching car, both with 392

This is excellent information :

"Not familiar with those part numbers.
These numbers I know are right,

68163848AB concentrate
68163849AB diluted 50/50
2012 is HOAT, 2013-up is OAT. "
Thanks Slidd, I appreciate it ! ( Good for your Jeep also ) (y)
Best regards

I disagree the the color has faded because my brand new 2020 Scat Pack build date 8/10/2020 has pink coolant and a month later it is still pink ? So what is the correct P/N ??????? Because it is not PURPLE

The owners manual in the glovebox states fluid capacities and required associated specifications. Calling a dealer parts counter with your VIN will also reveal what bottle of Mopar fluid the car needs too. Unless you're racing and have a certain coolant setup in mind after a full flush, quit overthinking and making things difficult. Auto parts stores also sell a $5 coolant tester so if you have to add some you can check it to keep the correct 50/50 ratio.

So this is strange. When my coolant is cold it is redish pink and when the car reaches operating temperature it is purple. So there’s some chemical reaction happening. I hope this helps other owners. Use the purple and you’ll be all set. Concentrate # 68163848AB. GL

I have the same issue on my Charger Scat Pack. I bought it brand new. It came with pink coolant from the factory. I have a small leak somewhere. The dealer looked up my Vin and sold me the purple color. Is it still ok to mix it? Does the purple color really turn pink ?

what year is the car

My car is pink when cold and purple when hot so Yes there is a chemical reaction when it gets hot and turns it purple.. it was a little weird when I got my 2020 SP and people had a lot of input but it is what it is. Purple color is correct.
