For those members that have installed the new Mopar 6.4L cold air intake kit, do any of you have any before and after dyno figures for your cars? I prefer to see completely stock condition and then after adding the Mopar cold air intake kit. Thanks in advance!

He will never have a warranty issue. Same can't be said for yours. Notice that his seals to the hood (your seals to what?). His was designed by an engineer (yours looks like it was designed by a laid off plumber). The $350 he paid probably gives him the same or better performance that you got without warranty issues.

so it was an engineer's idea to put a filter on the stock intake assembly !?!?

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAA !!!!!!

if you want a filter screwed on the end of a stock tube, pay $400 for the Mopar.

PLEASE tell me what kind of extensive engineering went into that design !?!?

Nigerian Engineers !?!?!?

you can try all you want red burden, but you are not going to convince these good people that strapping a blue filter onto the end of the stock intake assembly is some highly engineered masterpiece......

i'm rolling my eyes HARD.....

At some point you should actually evaluate the product instead of giving a glance and then playing your standard roll that yours is best.

But since you are obviously one of those that is in love with himself not much hope of that happening.

And yes everybody on this forum is 100% behind all your dyno knowledge and everything else that you talk about with so much authority!

You are a class "A" !

why not buy a CHEAPER and MORE EFFECTIVE intake that is 100% designed for the SRT 392 community like the SpeedLogix/Legmaker intake !?!?

1. Legmaker takes oil breather out of intake and bypasses emissions with a seperate breather that vents to atmosphere.

2. Legmaker is not secured by fender and filter will be damaged from bouncing around or eventually pull loose at a clamp

3. Legmake is completely exposed to all engine heat

4. Mopar intake is boxed and ducted away from heat sources

5. Mopar intake retains all emissions connections

6. Legmaker has more waves in the topend than the Pacific Ocean

7. Legmaker uses the same filter for a 3.5, 5.7, 6,1, and 6.4

8. Legmaker is cheaper and now you know why. You get what you pay for.

:disgust: yes, because THAT'S what people care about !??!

2. Legmaker is not secured by fender and filter will be damaged from bouncing around or eventually pull loose at a clamp
you think the filter is bouncing around in the engine bay as if the Challenger was some kind of tank in a convoy in Afghanistan !?!?

3. Legmake is completely exposed to all engine heat
1. the intake tube will stay COOLER because it's not soaking up heat - it's C/F
2. the intake will suck in the same air while the car is rolling

4. Mopar intake is boxed and ducted away from heat sources
cool - so is the stock unit

5. Mopar intake retains all emissions connections
nobody effing cares !!!!!

6. Legmaker has more waves in the topend than the Pacific Ocean
well, it's still clearly making huge gains up top as well as down low - and now that i think about it, it made massive gains in the midrange too.

that's pretty much 6 strikes in a row - hopefully you made it count on your next two arguments........

7. Legmaker uses the same filter for a 3.5, 5.7, 6,1, and 6.4
and !?!? looks like they are making sick gains with the same exact filter - something i can't say for the AirRaid.

8. Legmaker is cheaper and now you know why. You get what you pay for.
yeah, i get consistent power throughout the whole pull with a C/F tube that has been track proven for over 5 years.........

Litos ---------> :fight: <--------- red burden

You guys are going to get another thread locked with this nonsense. It's all about the CFM of the filter, anyway. All of these intakes are going to perform about the same.
I agree with the CFM comment and would add insulating from heat and channeling the coolest air.

In the past Volant has done a decent job of this (I'm sure there are others) in the aftermarket space.

I'll leave deek head alone. Just get tired of all of his one sided, mine is best, and one upping on everything.

I would say Im happy with My Airaid C.A.D. ,butt dyno tells Me there is a noticeable increase in Torque in the 2000-2500 RPM range. Fit and finish of airbox is very good. Very reasonably priced, I paid 239. , but read on the forum they can be bought for 199. View attachment 42878
If you think its no good then dont buy it. This is my second Airaid purchase on 2 different cars and I have been very pleased with them. I like this set up because you can use the stock tube with the bellows to flex when engine is gunned and motor flexes to the right I had a KN63 series and felt the rigid tube would flex at throttle body. Again my opinions are based on personal experience and not hearsay . This brand usually is well reviewed in publications and on he net
