Punked by a 300C?

So I think I got punked by a chair force guy in a Chrystler 300C, I dont know for sure cause im totally confused. But heres what happened. Im driving to work this morning, im heading down this street to the base where I work, now Im running a little late so im hurrying down the street. I notice a clean chrysler ahead cruising to the light that turns red, he stops, i catch up to the light and stop. Im not a great story teller so sorry if this is boring buuuut..... So keep this in mind cause this is where it gets tricky. The base is along a highway that runs North/south, the road im on runs east/west and directly into the base's gate where you have to stop and show ID to get in. So anyway Im sitting at the light waiting to cross the intersection and enter the gate, and I look over at the chrysler, cause it was pretty clean and looked good. I look forward, and a few seconds later the light turns green I put it in 1st and start to go when I hear a roar look over and see the chrysler take off like a raped ape across the intersection, and then have to smash on the brakes, he pulls in front of me(there are two lanes open in the gate and we were the only ones entering at the time) and up to the guard, shows ID and goes through like he's in no hurry. Im confused, like did I just get smashed on by a 300C? It had an SRT8 badge on the trunk, is that even real? Are those cars supposed to be fast? Cause he sure took off from that light for no apparent reason. What happened, should i be holding my head in shame or something? Im so confused.:scratchhead:

Chair Force LOL I resemble that remark.
I think the 300C is a HEMI but don't know if they have a SRT version.

Yes, there is a 300 SRT. Yes, they are bada$$. Should you hang your head? Nah, because 'round here if you squeal tires heading towards one of the gates, you're liable to see a red dot on your windshield. Not to mention, this kind of sounds like a ****** move on the 300's part, cutting you off like that.

He really didnt cut me off, that wasnt really a big deal, he had just took off so fast and and surprised the hell out of me, there was plenty of space in front of me, the lanes are kinda weird too. but he blasted off for no real reason it seemed like especially going right on base where the speed limits like 15mph.

BigBear.. Since I have the inside knowledge of exactly what intersection and gate you're talking about.. yeah man, you've been punked.. Yup, you should hold your head down in shame! I think you need to give up the PCP R/T! Just kidding!!!

At least it was another Chrysler product. I'd sure hate to hear you say one of the ten thousand camaros in town did that to ya!

Just messin with ya!

Oh man that reminds me of another time(again not a great storyteller) but I was heading down the street came up to a red light, there was a new camaro ss stopped there. Cant remember exactly what I was doing, but I was looking for some action. Anywhos I look over and the guy sees me and I give a little nod like whats up, and he just looks down and stares there till the light turns green and he dont move till im like halfway across the intersection. I was so ready to go, then nothing. I get no action in this car.

Everyone is always in a hurry to be first to the gates at our post also. I'm really not in a hurry, but I like the way the sound my car sounds screaming to the front! :p

I think this guy was jealous because he has a four door & you look way cooler. ;) He wanted to make sure you got a look at his car.

I can't stand 300C's in Atlanta they are EVERYWHERE, and the SRT-8 is the same old common car (while it does mimic a significantly better car, it does look classy), they have about the same 0-60 as us, I think we are "slightly" lighter though. 300c SRT-8's aren't the worry anyway, Jeeps man, I'm still glad I choose the Challenger, I think the SRT-8 Jeeps are ugly ;o, I could easily trade in an SRT-8 Challenger and swap with a Jeep SRT-8 any day.

We drove the 300C SRT8s on the road course at the Track Experience.
I felt the handling was not quite as good as the Challenger but if I had to have a 4 door car, the 300C SRT8 would be the one.

Also drove the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 on the same road course. The handling is amazing for a SUV. Full disclosure - We have one so maybe I'm a little biased.

In my high school driver's ed program, we were taught to drive defensively. The following definition googled for, "the best defense is a good offense" yielded this:

Military
Mao Zedong opined that "the only real defense is active defense", meaning defense for the purpose of counter-attacking and taking the offensive.[1] Often success rests on destroying the enemy's ability to attack. In reference to fighting terrorists, Matthew Levitt opines, "It’s important to pre-emptively strike at those who intend to do us harm."[2] The principle is echoed in the writings of Machiavelli and Sun Tzu.[3]
Some martial arts emphasise attack over defence. Wing Chun, for example, is a style of Kung Fu which uses the maxim: "The hand which strikes, also blocks."

So you see, the guy in the 300C is simply a better driver because he drives OFFENSIVELY!:slap::pokeowned:
