This is on my 2015 RT PLUS SHAKER 5.7 Manual shift.

Make sure before downloading your update to your USB Stick:

Make sure you use a 4 GB USB STICK

Download the update to your computer.
Unzip the downloaded file and then copy the files to your Stick.

Before entering your car make sure the Bluetooth on your phone is disabled.

Make sure you are out in the open and have very good cellular service before attempting to update to your car.

Make sure your cars E brake is on , in park or neutral and accessories are off.

Now, Start your car and let it come up to operating temperature.

Now, plug the USB stick that you downloaded the files to into your USB connector.
Wait for up to 5 minutes for the UConnect radio to find the files.

Once it does the download will take up to 30 mins.

Follow the instructions on your UConnect screen to complete the download.

Note: If the UConnect does not start to download after 5 mins, scroll thru your UConnect in settings to see if there is an option to accept the update.

ONE MORE THING:
WHen speaking to Mother Mopar I found that the update can cause the radio to fail rendering it junk.
You will get a failure on your screen and at that point you should call MOPAR.
Let them know the failure code.
They will most likely tell you to go to your dealer to confirm the failure code at which time the dealer should contact MOPAR to have the radio replaced at no charge to you.
The update works on some cars with no problem. Others it kills the radio!

Mopar knows this and thus far are agreeing to pay for replacement at no charge. I have a feeling that the future will not be so kind!

I suspect that some of the issues are the software or units prior to April of 2015.
This is only an assumption but I base this on the fact that there has been mention many times of issues with updates on prior Mopars. If anyone can confirm please do so.

Fortunately my update worked fine once I realized exactly what to do.
My Sport mode now works like it did when new.

Mine is 18.11.07 and what I'm reading means no update is needed as it's not listed. Correct??

Mine is a 2016, and the latest version is 18-45-01.
The latest update fixed problems with the NAV. If you don't have NAV, then I wouldn't worry about updating.
Did you check your VIN on Dodge.com and check for Uconnect updates? Go to the owners board, and on the bottom left there is a link for Uconnect updates.

This is IF you have an issue? I just set a time when notified of an update and it does it by itself.

I agree, I wouldn't unless I was having an issue I hope it fixed

I have a 2016 and my current version is 18.13.07 and when I go to the website and its says I'm eligible for the update (but in the instructions for 18.45.01 it doesn't list my version number as to whether I need to go to the dealer or I can do it myself) and I'm a bit leery of doing it myself since it isn't listed and I dont want to take the chance of screwing anything up, but then again I dont want to pay the dealer to do it as everything (including sportmode) is working just fine as it is! Has anyone updated their 18.13.07 version to the latest version??? I do have Navigation by the way, but its the old 2016 maps (as I never paid for any update) if that matters.

've got a MY15 and am currently running 18.11.7. That version isn't listed on the UConnect System download page. Can I just do the download for 18.45.1?
You sound like me with 18.13.07 that also wasn't listed on the UConnect System download page , I called UConnect and they (the lady who answered the phone) told me I would have to go to the dealer (and pay) to have it done. I just figured I'd leave well enough alone and stayed with my original version (18.13.07) as it's working fine and I refuse to pay to fix anything that isn't broken! She also tried to scare me by telling me running the old version is going to brick my radio one day but until that happens I aint going to worry about it!!
