Hello,
Ordered a 2022 Challenger R/T Shaker and I’m just wondering did I pick to right Color?

I picked Torred and I love it glad I chose it can’t wait to see it in person, when ordering I almost picked smoke show and thinking back on it did I make the right choice.

Which color would you pick Torred or Smoke Show?

You picked the right color. In my opinion, Challengers look best in high impact colors- they deserve to be noticed. You don't want to blend in. (Gray is one of the top three colors for cars- 38% are painted white, 19% are black, and 15% are gray).

My 1971 'Cuda was Rallye Red and my 2009 Challenger SRT is Hemi-orange.

It’s like when you were in school as a kid, your first choice on the test is the correct choice. The red one is beautiful and will stand out like these cars should. All the bright skittles type colors are great.
It was not an available color choice in 2012 or I’d definitely have considered it.
Nice way to wait for spring, a new red car!

Yeah, that's another option I disdain, the red interior. I for the life of me can not understand why a white interior wasn't offered except for in the pink cars.
Even with my old Mopars I do not like interiors of red blue or green .

I agree, all Challengers should be great colors like black and white.... this way we'll always see cars the same as our own :D

White cars have no character.

Black cars, while looking good they're impossible to keep clean and swirl marks out of the paint.

They can rust if it’s normal paint it should be around 3 or 4 years if I get high quality aluminum covers it should be around 7 to 8 but where I live trust me it will rust either way.

There is a certain way of doing it that could make it last longer but I promise you they will rust where I live I can’t stress that enough.

This goes for me as well, My 2017 Ram is black it’s horrible it looks good but I can’t keep it clean but you know still got a few years left on it so I can’t trade it.

My problem is...they all look good. I think most who start these threads are just looking for confirmation. They know in their heart what they want but it's a big commitment, and they are torn. I don't believe anyone is ever asking for opinions planning to do what the majority says. Once you make your choice...no regrets! It would be easier if you know 100% what you want (like I did).

BTW, a black car is a commitment (or we should be committed). It's like the Army...It's not just a job...

Fully agreed when I started this I just wanted to see what others thought and I’d love to hear more opinions but I’m happy with TorRed.

Yes black is a commitment as well I mean the dealer sold the exact same truck I had picked out except it was blue and they did it right under me.

I only bought the black one for the ecodiesel but I’m in love with it.

Black is a struggle that you gotta deal with.
