I had to have a rider put on my policy that my 19yr old son (who lives with me) would never drive the SRT8, that he has his own car, and his own insurance policy.
NOTE: I cannot put him on my policy even if I wanted to...my company is for people 50yrs old or greater.
Sad, but the 16\25 male age demographic is the worst place to be. Highest risk.
With two tickets, in my province of Ontario, Canada, your son would be paying between 600 and 800 per month if on his own policy. We also have a graduated license policy here, cant drive on freeways, at night, or without a licensed driver beside you (to start)...and NO alcohol WHATSOVER. Forget legal BAC limits, get caught with ANY reading and youre done.
