Dont have to get stripes.mine was stripe free
Yes, mine has only the Bumblebee rear stripe.

I had to have the shaker! Seems like you have a part of the engine sticking out, feels so "hot rod" and you get to see it twist and turn when you hit the gas. For the money its minimal in any performance gain, but for the style and feel it is like no other. Looking at that lump in front of you adds a sense of power supreme. I knew the wallet was going to take a hit but it was well worth it in my opinion. I got the car in August2020 and it rains here and there in Oahu, Hawaii but I have had no problems with water at all. I hardly see shakers here too, I've only seen about 3 total so far. I finally put shaker footage together and made a video of my shaker.

Great car, great background. Great picture!

Another cool thing with the SHAKER moving is, it goes the other way on severe engine braking, in lower gears, so if on some twistys, and say you are in 2nd gear getting on and off the power, you notice it rocking left, then hard right, then center... This may be a win in the M6 column though, but you can still see it when paddling away on the A8, just so quick it is hard to see.

Hadn't thought of that. Down shifting the M6 just got more fun!

Honestly, the shaker just looks damn mean and oh so classic muscle car cool. I absolutely refused to buy a Challenger without it. And of course in a high impact colour. I can't really speak to any water issues with the shaker, I haven't had any personally. As for the heat concerns, I DD my Challenger all summer and track it on the weekends and I haven't had any real heat issues. I find that these cars naturally run a little hotter on average than I'd like, but you can chalk that up to manufacturers chasing emissions and fuel mileage numbers, hotter tends to run cleaner. But as with any mass-produced product, YMMV.

The Shaker appears to float inside the hole when you're driving it ,which I think is kinda interesting.
you don't realize how much the mass of the engine / transmission moves around (bumps / accelertion / deceleration) until you can actually see it while driving

If the 392 & Shaker If wasn't available - I would have kept my '09 R/T which I had modded (suspension, cam and so on)

Is the blacktop package hood, roof, trunk lid a decal, or is it painted ??
Don't see where you can get blackout with the Shaker. And it's not part of the Blacktop package despite the name.

It does come with T/A but you cant get T/A and shaker together.

On T/A, only the hood is painted, the rest of the graphics are all vinyl.

The open top of the Shaker air box will create higher AIT while at idle and car not moving. Increased IAT (compared to a closed or closed and insulated air box) will continue for 30 seconds to one minute of the car moving after which IAT with open or closed air box is within a degree or 2. I enclosed and insulated the air box for the specific purpose of reducing IAT in the staging lanes and the first few hundred feet on the drag strip hoping for some miniscule gain. IMO, all of this is totally irrelevant for any type of driving other than possibly drag racing.

I've owned the Shaker for almost 5 years, with the exception of removing the shaker top to access oil fill (takes about 1 minute each way) the remainder of the complaints are nothing burgers.

Bottom line, if you like the Shaker and are willing to pay for it. get it. Absolutely nothing to worry over.

Yep, that sums it up. I took mine off, taking pictures, closing hood without it, replacing it, all in 3 minutes. And if someone actually thinks that is hard when adding oil, I feel like slapping them.
You add oil when, 99% of the time, you change oil.
So compared to raising the car, crawling under, REMOVEING THE DAMNED UNDERBODY PAN while upside down, this is what people complain about? Literally the only real downside is the expense. And it is a lot of money, but man the prices like $600 for a different color brake calipers (not just painted, but painted different), or $1000 for the Barracuda/SRT rear spoiler MORE than the standard spoiler which isn't that different? The SHAKER package for $2600 now almost sounds reasonable in price.

very true, the 1 k spoiler upgrade is a total joke, where is my credit for the spoiler you did not install. the option prices are crazy and seem to provide no deduct for the parts they are not installing.

Yep, but I admit, it does look pretty dang cool, and if one fell of a truck in front of my house, I'd probably put it on.
But if there were 2 cars sitting there, one with SRT spoiler, and one with my Scat Pack one, and the Scat Pack one also had a briefcase with $1000 in it in the trunk, I know which car I'd take.

The first time I saw the Shaker I wanted one. Went to the dealer and ordered a Scat Pack Shaker which was going to take a few months back in 2015. The dealer had a Black HellCat and was trying to sell it to me instead of ordering the SP. I told him if the HellCat had a shaker I would take it and he replied with but the HC has 707 and my reply was again but it doesn't have a Shaker LOL. 5.5 years later and over 85k miles this car still runs like new and makes me smile every time I hit the throttle.

Same here. I would have given up the WB option to get the Shaker. I know, I know...giving up performance for looks. Didn't say I would've liked it. But it's gonna be my DD. Has to be "old school cool"! Am happy for 21' they offered both and that's what I got.

this is the best i can do on a pic, as i dont have her yet,,,,ordered jan 20 hoping for delivery last week of march or sooner

Awesome, good luck!

Yes and with the 1k SRT spoiler you cannot get the Bumble Bee stripe. I went with the stripe for half what the spoiler costs. Allot more visual "bang for the buck" if you ask me.
